We are seeking a well-qualified, innovative and enthusiastic teacher to be a Subject Leader for PE. The successful candidate will have a passion for teaching PE; demonstrate good leadership and management skills, high standards and success at raising progress and attainment.

For this teaching post, we are looking to appoint someone who:

Is talented, dynamic and an ambitious teacher, who can build on the success of the Learning Area and ensure good progress for pupils.
Has experience of teaching PE with very good outcomes at KS3 and KS4.
Can inspire and lead high quality teaching and learning.
Can engage pupils of all abilities and raise standards.
An outstanding teacher and subject specialist with a track record of securing excellent GCSE examination results for both individual classes and year groups.
Skilled at fostering independent and collaborative student-led learning.
Has the ability to create and plan a PE curriculum that will develop pupil’s skills and their love for learning in the 21st century.
Has a track record of securing successful pupil outcomes in GCSE examinations.
A teacher of English Language and mathematic skills within the context of teaching PE.

Previous experience of a role in an educational setting is desirable.
