NOVA Sports is a Sports Coaching service targeted at sports delivery to primary school aged children in Leicestershire and Nottinghamshire and being the link between grassroots clubs and schools.
The organisation is preparing to starting up its weekly development programmes and holiday courses from June 2016. With an aim of increasing the quality of football coaching in local communities.
As part of its preparation we’re looking to recruit experienced & talented FA Qualified Coaches to work with our young players recruited to the programme. The age that the coach will be working with will be primary school age (5-11 year olds).
Responsibilities:- Delivery of High Quality Coaching sessions to children- Supporting the development and promotion of the programme- Planning and preparing appropriately for coaching sessions based in Loughborough, Chilwell & Clifton, Nottingham.There will also be additional work in the form of other coaching services provided by NOVA Sports e.g. Holiday Courses, 1-2-1 coaching & Birthday Party Coaching.
Requirements of the Role:
Qualities:- Commitment- Patience- Passion for Player Development at younger age groups.
Qualifications and Other Requirements:- Clean DBS Check – FA Level 2 or Above (with Youth Modules 1 + 2 preferable)- FA Safeguarding Children- FA Emergency First Aid (all will need presenting at interview)

£10 per Hour pay (potential for pay increases)
Drivers License will be essential (Coach preferably based or living in Nottingham or Loughborough)
ASSISTANT COACHES:
We are also recruiting for Assistant Coaches – Requirement FA Level 1 – Pay will be £6.50 – Role will entail learning from our lead coaches and supporting the operation of coaching sessions. Experience not required, however an eagerness to learn & commitment to developing yourself as a football coach will be required.
