Casual S&C Coach – Project MVP – Scotland

Job Description
Project MVP facilitates global talent identification and performance monitoring by collecting validated fitness testing data using cutting edge technology and analysis.
Job location:
Scotland
We require the assistance of S&C coaches to help us run testing events across the Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee regions. This will be a hands-on role that requires individuals to play an essential role within the event and will offer valuable first-hand experiences. Duties will include, but are not limited to;
• Assist in the construction and deconstruction of an event
• Warm-up and cool-down protocols for athletes
• In-field testing using force plates and timing systems.
• Managing a group of athletes, assessing them on various tests and collecting results of these athletes.
• Assisting with data entry for further analysis
We are looking for individuals who are keen to work in the field of strength & conditioning and desire to expand their knowledge with athlete testing and development. This is a casual position where you will be paid a competitive hourly rate. There may be opportunities for further casual work with us in Scotland in the future.
A firm understanding of sports science and athletic assessment would be desirable. Good social skills are essential, and experience working with youths is desirable. You will ideally be on a strength & conditioning/sports science degree or have already attained this.
