Professional Development Co-ordinator – University of Leeds

Job Description
Working with the Professional Development Manager, you will assist in the co-ordination of student development through our Leeds Sport programmes. You will provide support to enhance and develop our Coach Education and Sports Leadership programmes and assist in developing our personal skills development opportunities.

Over the last 12 months, our personal skills development portfolio has grown rapidly into one of the largest within the Higher Education sector. You will help to support this continued growth, through implementing new volunteer programmes and co-ordinating the delivery of training and mentoring our students to reach their potential. You will also assist in the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of our work, ensuring that our students develop the graduate level skills required to succeed after graduating. You will have experience of co-ordinating volunteer placement opportunities and have an understanding of coach and officiating education programmes. You will also have experience in working with and alongside students and supporting them to develop and grow. You will also have experience in monitoring and evaluating projects and programmes.

Based on a 35 hour working week, you will be required to work the core weekday working hours (Monday to Friday), however as part of this role you may be required to work occasional evenings and weekends.
