William Howard Trust is looking to appoint an innovative, forward-thinking and dynamic Headteacher to William Howard School in Cumbria. This role presents an exciting opportunity to join the William Howard Trust at a pivotal time and be part of our vision of providing an inspiring and innovative education for young people.
William Howard School is an academy, situated in the town of Brampton on the edge of Cumbria and the North Pennines, serving a large catchment area in east Cumbria. It is an innovative and forward-thinking school. We are passionate about education and aim to provide an exciting and engaging learning environment where students are inspired, enthused and equipped for the future.
Accountable to the Executive Headteacher, the Headteacher will be responsible for leadinglearning in the Academy by:
Having a clear vision for education.
Leading and inspiring high quality learning, teaching and assessment.
Being dynamic and passionate about the welfare, success and achievement of our students and staff, putting the Academy at the heart of the community.
Being a strategic thinker, an exceptional leader of people and a skilled motivator.
Having a drive for educational improvement and an ability to communicate this.
Demonstrating a commitment to community involvement with the schools and to lifelong community learning
A team player – willing to contribute to the development of the William Howard Trust.
