AVR London is a collective of artists working closely with some of the world’s most respected architects to produce convincing and captivating photo-montages, verified images, interiors, master-planning, time-lapse or stylised portrayals of schemes at competition, planning, or marketing stages.
The role
We are looking for enthusiastic, creative assistant photographer/videographer to join our studio based close to Tower Bridge in London. Working alongside the principal photographer you will use and develop your skills to help organise architectural photography and video shoots across London. While the majority of the work is stills based we are looking for someone with an interest and knowledge of taking and editing video. Being organised and proactive is vital to the role in our busy studio. Our jobs span all areas of London and beyond, so daily travel is integral to the role, along with more office-based processing of images and working with the wider illustration team. We also have an architectural art gallery so mingling is compulsory!
About you</strong
You will have studied photography at university and have a strong interest in and knowledge of architecture. A proactive forward planner, able to think on your feet, you’ll also have a good knowledge of London.
What we are looking for:
good artistic eye and feel for an aesthetically beautiful shot/shoot
solid understanding of photographic processes
video editing skills
confident, organised, attentive to details and proactive
good Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere and After Effects skills
efficient time management
good knowledge of London essential
