Job Description
Norwich City Regional Development Programme (Suffolk) are pleased to offer the opportunity to join the team as a Schools Activity Coach. Delivering sport in schools is a hugely rewarding role for any coach to hold and we are sure any coach who joins our team will feel the same.

The programme is only going to go from strength to strength and as a result the hours on offer could increase for the right candidate as time goes on.

Job Role Outline:
Norwich City Regional Development Programme Coach

Objectives:
• Ensure all sessions are delivered in line with the programme’s values
• Help to increase participation in physical education and activity and increase attainment levels by maintaining the delivery of high quality PE and sport

Aims:
• To deliver an outstanding experience for children and parents across
• Development Programme within local schools and holiday courses.

Role Specific Responsibilities:
• Deliver a sport/PE syllabus as agreed by the RDP and the school
• Ensure all paperwork (registers, letters, individual reports) is completed to a high standard and on time
• Develop and maintain relationships with those schools being delivered in
• To support the Schools Activity Co-Ordinator with the delivery of schools festivals/tournaments

Regional Football Development Programme Responsibilities:
• Adhere to all policies and procedures including safeguarding, Health & Safety, Behavior
• Management, Equality and Diversity, Data Protection, and Quality Assurance and follow all policies and procedures within the staff handbook
• To follow and work by all procedures in accordance to the Regional Football Development Programme
• To maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times
• To report to Line Manager and attend Regional Football Development Programme staff meetings when requested
• Any other duties deemed necessary by the Regional Football Development Programme Director/Line Manager

Person Specification:
Essential:
• NGB Level 2 qualified
• Excellent time keeping
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Open and approachable
• Ability to work on own initiative
• Emergency Aid qualified
• FA Safeguarding qualified
• Enhanced CRC check (or willingness to complete before commencing work)
• Available during school time (Mon – Fri, 09:00 to 16:30)
• Full Driving License
• Own transport

Desirable:
• A current connection with primary schools in Suffolk
• Other Level 1 multi-sport qualifications
• FA Youth Mod 1 & 2
• Experience of working in a school setting
• A desire to progress in the sport industry
