Dronfield Henry Fanshawe School is a successful, oversubscribed, high achieving Technology College with 1785 students on roll including 313 in Sixth Form. It is situated close to the centres of Sheffield and Chesterfield on the edge of the Peak District National Park. The Governors are seeking to appoint well qualified, committed and enthusiastic English specialists, who wish to join a dedicated and well motivated team of teachers in this high achieving Faculty (results KS4: 78% A* – C).

We are seeking to appoint a person who:

Is an excellent and innovative classroom practitioner
Demonstrates commitment to continuous improvement and the raising of achievement
Is excited about the potential of new technologies to transform students’ learning experiences
Has the vision, imagination and commitment to add to the strengths of the Faculty, to meet the highest standards and be a role model for our students
May be an NQT or an experienced colleague
Has the ability to teach or interest in teaching A Level
