Job Description
Fixed Term Contract until end of June 2017 with potential for renewal

We are on the hunt for an experienced and confident individual with strong organisational skills to join our team as we move to our new offices next month. This is a new role and we’re looking for a self-starter who is capable of managing complex projects and who can really integrate with our fantastic team.

Our company has delivered some of the most significant events on the planet – multiple Olympic Games, Commonwealth Games, Rugby World Cup events, and World Championships. We have also delivered a host of major cultural events for and on behalf of Government departments and Organising Committee’s all over the world.

Your core output will be planning, producing, cataloguing and managing all vision and music content and data for some of our very exciting, upcoming projects. You will be required to organise filming days with some of our clients and to oversee the filming of a variety of packages. You will liaise closely with our Producers, Event Managers, Technical team and the Vision department to ensure all content is correctly curated, filed, stored, labelled and produced for the event.

This role would be on a fulltime basis working in the London office, but work to service the requirements of our international business (Europe, Sydney and Doha) with exposure across each of our dedicated service pillars – sport, culture, vision and marketing.

This is a varied role which requires genuine attention to detail, creativity and a positive, pro-active project mindset.

Responsibilities Include:
• Liaise with clients and the GBE team to organise filming shoots, identify suitable filming locations
• Oversee the filming days and production in line with the clients’ briefs and provide creative input where required
• Liaise with clients and governing bodies/rights holders as required to check copyright and editorial queries and approvals.
• Use editing tools such as Adobe Premiere to capture and edit raw footage.
• Order footage from relevant sources and ensure they are properly managed, stored, labelled and returned (if required).
• Ensure that client editorial guidelines are met to avoid any instances of guideline breaches.
• Liaise with production team and collate graphics produced for client sign off.
• Log all researched, selected and cleared clips into the database to ensure full records are maintained.
• Highlight premium content to assist in business development and new concept development
• Develop file storage solutions
• Clearly label and file all content
• Liaise closely with internal and external parties
• Meet client and internal deadlines
• Assist on filming days as required
• Assist with the editing of vision footage as and when required
• Edit music tracks for use as and when required

To be considered for this role you will need to demonstrate:
Professional skills
• Good understanding for filming and camera work
• Good technical knowledge and skills
• Experience using basic editing software for music and vision
• Experience of assessing images for quality, composition and subject matter
• Experience with digitising footage and audio from tape and a good understanding of different digital formats.
• Experience of using Content management systems for archiving digital assets; for creating asset records adding rich metadata; as a publishing tool; and research tool, with a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of rights and clearances including music is highly desirable
• Good level proficiency in Microsoft Office Professional Suite (Word, PowerPoint. Excel, Outlook)
