Project Lead – Jason Bruges Studio – London, United Kingdom

Jason Bruges Studio are looking for an enthusiastic and solution focused project lead to join our vibrant studio. Working mainly on a large-scale project for the Middle East, you’ll uphold the high standard of work within the studio as well as drive this international commission forward.

The role involves managing the day-to-day delivery of a project, from developing concepts right through to final production – managing key client stakeholders, the internal design team and suppliers throughout the process. You will work closely with our design manager to ensure the project creative is to the highest standard, and also with our studio manager to ensure the correct resource is allocated.

A sense of resilience and humour are a must. We approach everything we do with exploration and excitement, and we need someone who will be an extension of this.

The contract will be a rolling three month contract for the duration of the specific project (likely 12 months) with the possibility of extension or permanent role should we find the right cultural fit and skill-set.

Candidates should demonstrate the following attributes:

Relevant skills and experience

ideally a Part-II architect or an industrial designer with strong project management experience
substantial experience in delivering large multi-stakeholder projects on time and on budget
history of impeccable client liaison and internal management skills
exceptional design skills, and the ability to present and communicate ideas clearly
experience of working with and managing a diverse range of skill-sets, including visualisers, industrial designers and programmers
able to negotiate with and confidently manage a variety of suppliers
confident in switching between multiple tasks at any one time
strong Microsoft software package skills including Project, Word, Excel and possibly Mac Keynote
experience of working with Middle Eastern clients a bonus, but not a necessity
