Retrouvius is looking for someone to join our busy sales team in the Kensal Green showroom. Working from the Retrouvius warehouse, where salvaged materials are imaginatively displayed, stored and sold, the ideal candidate should have proven retail experience, great organisational skills and be self-motivated with a ‘can do’ attitude. An interest in reclaimed materials and quality antique furniture is also preferable.

Requirements. Candidates must be:

organised and efficient with a good attention to detail to ensure that all orders and sales are completed successfully
able to oversee the smooth running of the whole showroom including ensuring the offices, kitchen, workshop etc are properly stocked and orders for the design clients working with the Retrouvius design team are fulfilled
approachable and friendly. Previous retail experience is preferable as the warehouse is open to customers Monday to Saturday
good at communicating. Working as part of a seven person team it is essential to be absolutely clear about the status of all ongoing orders, stock availability and deliveries with both the sales team members and the warehouse team
able to multi-task. A successful candidate will be able to prioritise tasks and react to urgent situations such as large deliveries, collections and impromptu client meetings
excellent personal skills when dealing with both new and existing clients in the showroom, over the phone and via email
experienced with standard computer programs such as Excel, Word and the invoicing system quickbooks
physically able as there is a fair amount of lifting and shifting stock when dealing with deliveries and rearranging the showroom

Working hours: Tuesday to Saturday 9.30am to 6pm.
