Job Description
Based at Adams Park, the home of Wycombe Wanderers FC, this is an exciting opportunity to join a talented team that are dedicated to engaging with as many people as possible in and around High Wycombe and the surrounding area, with the aim of improving levels of health, social inclusion, community cohesion, education, and sports participation.
The Delivery Officer – Education will be responsible for supporting WWSET’s existing education related staff members with the high quality planning, delivery and reporting of WWSET’s current and future education related projects and activities which are delivered to both adults and children.
Initial delivery responsibilities will be focused on WWSET’s Future Goals programme which involves working with youngsters aged 12-14 who attend local schools but are disengaged with education. Following August 2020 delivery responsibilities will be concerned with other education projects depending on the post-holders skills and experience, plus funding outcomes.

Role Accountabilities & Key Duties
1 Plan, deliver and support high quality education based sessions/projects
2 Provide dedicated personal support to those who attend WWSET’s education sessions/projects in order to allow them to reach their full potential.
3 Maintain registers and other records at all times to demonstrate participation levels and impact
4 Liaise regularly with relevant other WWSET staff regarding session/project success and considerations to improve quality
5 Recognition that challenging behaviours may be faced, and an ability to deal and report on such behaviour in a professional manner
6 Identify, develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders/external organisations in order to add value to WWSET’s education related offerings
7 Increase the awareness and popularity of WWSET’s education related offerings via effective publicity and promotion
8 Devise activities that ensure individuals and groups of participants are motivated, stretched and challenged at appropriate levels across all WWSET’s education sessions/projects
9 Ensure compliance with all relevant WWSET policies at all times
10 Ensure compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, ethical and social requirements at all times
11 Maintain a professional image and act as an ambassador for WWSET & WWFC at all times
12 Keep confidential any information gained regarding WWSET and WWFC
13 Maintain a flexible approach to work at all times and undertake other duties as required by WWSET
14 Ensure appropriate risk assessments and health & safety procedures are in place across sessions
15 Maximise the frequency and impact of player appearances at WWSET’s education sessions/projects
16 Ensure appropriate exit routes are offered to all participants being engaged on WWSET’s education sessions/projects
17 Attend training courses and continuing professional development sessions as and when required
