CRM Manager – East Yorkshire – Hull Kingston Rovers

Job Description
A new role has been created within the marketing team to transform the data and insight which is available to the business. After completing a comprehensive review of the club’s systems and platforms you will then devise a road map and strategy to ensure we are providing fans and commercial partners with smarter, more relevant messages through our channels.

You will also become the ‘go-to’ person to provide invaluable insight and reporting to senior management from which future business decisions will be made.

With an eye for detail, trends and data patterns you must also be versatile, able to work across numerous work streams simultaneously and have creative flair.

The key objective of the role is to develop an overarching CRM strategy for the club to a) maximise spend per head of existing fans b) convert prospects into fans and members.

This will include the following duties and responsibilities:
Systems and platforms
• Continuous review of systems and platforms to ensure best possible solutions and integrations are in place.
• Implement behaviour based triggered marketing that pro-actively upsells products and identifies disengaged fans.

Growing the database
• Improve data density of existing data to ensure we can communicate with supporters through every channel.
• Grow overall database size by ensuring data collection points are in place across all areas of the business to maximise every opportunity.

Commercialising the database
• Segment the database to ensure fans are getting relevant communications to grow performance of all products.
• Plan and execute the club’s below the line marketing activity including briefing designers and writing copy.

Providing insight
• Provide analysis, support and insight to all departments to ensure we are identifying and acting on insight.
• Conduct regular supporter feedback sessions both quantitative online surveys and qualitative one to one to ensure we are in touch with fans opinions.
• Encourage a test, measure and learn culture within the business.

Qualifications & experience
• Experience in CRM and marketing.
• Experience in the management of third party suppliers.
• Ability to interpret data and recommend actions.
• Knowledge and experience of using third party software and Microsoft suite of products – Word, Excel and Power Point.

The role is predominately based at the KC Lightstream Stadium offices however we would consider remote working some days a week to secure the right candidate.
