Primary Provision for Young People with an Autism Spectrum Disorder & Aspergers Syndrome

Eagle House School, Mitcham is a ‘good’ (Ofsted Nov 2014) broad spectrum special school for pupils aged from 4 to 12 years who have a diagnosis of autism or Asperger Syndrome. If successful you will be responsible for teaching a class of 4 to 6 pupils assisted by a minimum of 3 Learning Support Assistants. Your responsibilities will include planning schemes of work, setting IEP targets, delivering high quality lessons and assessing pupils achievement and progress. You will also be responsible for line managing your team of learning support assistants..

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to join the Teachers Pension Scheme and will automatically be enrolled onto our private Health Care Plan.
