Coach Development Manager – Tennis Scotland – Edinburgh

Job Description
Tennis Scotland is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Coach Development Manager to build on the education offer currently in place and achieve the mission and targets within the Tennis Scotland and British Tennis strategies.

This position will take a lead across the organisation to ensure coaches throughout the pathway are supported in their ongoing development. Working closely with the LTA Coach Development Team and sportscotland the post holder will establish, develop and deliver a comprehensive coach development programme for coaches working across clubs, parks and educational venues ensuring provision of opportunities at each age and stage. The post holder will also work closely with the performance team to develop coaches within the performance pathway.

Educated to degree level and holding LTA coach accreditation at level 3 or above the ideal candidate will demonstrate a track record of developing coaches, possess excellent customer service skills and have the ability to develop, deliver and monitor projects. Excellent leadership, communication and negotiating skills are a must as well as the ability to enthuse and motivate others coupled with having a real passion for achieving the mission of ‘More People Playing Tennis More Often’.
