Studio Manager – Squint – London

Bespoke furniture brand Squint Limited is advertising for a studio manager to work at their east London Studio.

We are looking for an experienced and reliable studio manager to manage all of the back of house duties being responsible for sales and financial administration and general studio management. We are a fast paced and growing international brand and the right person will have the opportunity to develop with us as we go forward.

The successful candidate will be professional, proactive, reliable, organised and energetic with a keen eye for detail and a pride in excellence of client and supplier service.

This role requires a knowledge of Microsoft Office, basic understanding of Photoshop and general computer skills, previous experience working in a design studio preferably within interiors, and historical knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping an added bonus. Problem solving skills with the ability to handle rapidly changing/challenging schedules and shifting work priorities essential. As we go forward we are developing our interior design service so experience within that field would be an advantage and occasional trips will be necessary for site visits and international trade fairs.

Responsibilities will include:

liaising with clients and suppliers
assisting the director in areas including financial, human resources and business development
overseeing the studio team and their individual schedules
assisting the showroom team with after sales administration including ordering from and scheduling with our manufacturers
general administrative and office management duties
front of house interaction with clients
