Senior Exhibition Project Manager – Design Museum – London

The Design Museum’s mission is to create the most inspiring, exciting and engaging museum in the world. The museum currently delivers world class exhibitions that provoke thought, debate and critical acclaim.

The senior exhibition project manager will play a key role in the delivery of this mission and the final programme of exhibitions at the museum’s current premises in Shad Thames and planning for the opening programme of exhibitions and displays in Kensington in 2016.

The senior exhibition project manager works alongside the exhibitions project manager, head of exhibitions, curators and the touring team to ensure the production and installation elements of each exhibition are successfully delivered. They are also responsible for the planning and implementation of the exhibitions de-cant from the current premises to the new site in Kensington, monitoring exhibition budgets, recruit and manage the volunteers and acting as an overall support to the exhibitions team.
