Stephen Davy Peter Smith Architects is an award winning practice based in Hoxton and we are looking for a confident and experienced HR/Practice Manager to join our team. This is a stand-alone role and you will be responsible for the smooth running of the office:
to provide a generalist HR service and support to directors and managers and be the ‘go to’ person for all staff.
employment handbooks, general policy and procedure. Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and best practice
HR records, staff files and management information reports
end to end recruitment
salary, benefits and salary sacrifice schemes
performance management including induction, appraisals, CPDs, training programmes
investors in People accreditation
attend weekly programme meetings; monitor staffing levels and update of programme charts and V1 accounting system. Provide reports on project costs.
manage the admin team and all office and admin procedures and implementation
organise/chair office meetings and events
insurances: building, office, health, business
ISO 9001, ISO 14001 audits and compliance
business development, frameworks and tenders
PR/marketing events – assist marketing manager
responsible for the upkeep of a two-storey 750 M2 freehold building plus garage and car park
manage tenancy agreements
manage all suppliers and maintenance contracts, routine testing and certification
Health and safety
policy update and implementation
risk assessments and fire and safety maintenance.
EXOR, Safecontractor and Constructioinline audits and compliance
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a creative environment. You will need to be flexible and have a hands-on approach.
proven experience in a similar stand alone role
strong interpersonal and organisational skills
intermediate/advanced MS Office
