SportElite Alternative Education Provision Co-ordinator – Support Sport

Job Purpose:
To oversee the success of Support Sport’s SportElite Programme
To Develop new, innovative ways of providing Alternative Education Provision
To increase the number of young people able to access our Alternative Education Provision.

Job description, Roles and Responsibilities
This role will enable Support Sport to grow from a small enterprise into a larger enterprise. The individual will be responsible for overseeing the workforce, to ensure high standards are adhered to. This will enable Support Sport to deliver more high quality opportunities for children and young people, keeping a strong, vibrant and ambitious workforce, enabling the Directors to focus on strategic operations, that will benefit the organisation and individual by giving direction, support and opportunities to grow.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
Finance- To manage budgets to ensure the financial stability and growth of the organisation, keeping in line with best practice for funding partners.

To drive sales to increase income (See KPI’s)

Planning- To ensure that the workforce are kept in communication regarding the centres plans, Including partners, students and other student networks where necessary.

To create plans that fit the post holders KPI’s, the organisations strategic plans, and Support Sport’s ethos, values and vision.

To work to plans, goals and targets that are set and keep to the time frames set.

Roles and Responsibilities- To lead the SportElite programme, delivering relevant courses and qualifications to the highest of standards.
To tutor on the the SportElite programme, taking responsibility for student progress.
To comply with all employment law regulations, using advice from our HR advisors to do this.
To Plan staffing for the programme
To engage with relevant CPD opportunities
To drive the Sales and Marketing of the SportElite programme.
To continuously monitor and implement procedures in relation to Safeguarding and Protecting
To help develop centre policies, including reviewing them annually.
To find new venues that may be used for our alternative provision programmes.
To find new partners, that may be able to support the growth of our alternative provision programmes.
To ensure the SportElite programme complies with with health and safety regulations.
To closely follow the Quality Assurance schedule, communicating with the QA Nominee, Internal Verifier on course progress.
To develop and identify new opportunities through funding, tenders, new contracts and links with potential partners.
To mark learners work and provide appropriate and accurate feedback.
To provide a high level of customer service.
To keep to Support Sport’s staff code of conduct whilst employed by the organisation.
To raise any concerns with Directors of the company
To follow Support Sport’s Policies and Procedures, including Whistleblowing and Child Protection, and to implement these within the SportElite programme.
