Journalist, Mandarin-speaker – MailOnline – London, England

MailOnline, the world’s largest English-language newspaper website with over 200 million monthly unique visitors globally, is looking for an experienced and talented journalist, who is both fluent in English and Mandarin, to join the Global News desk in the London bureau.

You should have a strong interest in international news and substantial newsroom experience. Successful candidates should also have a track record of finding and breaking your own stories and be hungry to find exclusive lines on issues from Ebola to Isis to Kim Jong Un.

The role is primarily office-based with the opportunity for travel for the right candidates. Applicants must be able to deliver vibrant, clean copy to very tight deadlines.

Requirements include:

Ability to generate strong headlines and engaging, original content
Strong interest in international news
Keen eye for photographs and solid production skills
Ability to work in a rolling news environment and to multiple deadlines
Fluent in Mandarin and English
