Who are we?
Etch Creative is a young, fresh and fast growing design agency and we’re looking for a super talented, uber organised, friendly faced, beautifully spoken, well presented project manager with experience in print and fabrication. We are growing fast and already working with some of the UKs biggest fashion, retail and cosmetics brands. We are now itching to expand into a new premises in 2015, but to do so, we need brilliant staff to help us grow.
The position:
We say ‘Project Manager’ but this position is the first we have offered in the company and the right person will be right at the top of the company with limitless potential both financially and professionally. It will be very varied but a really fantastic opportunity to be at the very top of the company at this early stage. You will be working closely with the creative director on all creative projects and expected to put your hand to all elements of a project from a bit of art-working if needed to client facing and meetings. We need someone flexible and eager to go far with the company. We will train the right person and you will learn a huge amount if you are eager and willing to learn.
Skills:
you will need at least three years experience dealing with clients and managing projects involving print and fabrication techniques (i.e. digital print, plastics fabrication and wood work etc) and also understand the fast moving world of luxury retail brands. Experience in this area would be a great advantage in the role
knowledge of Adobe Creative suite and 3D visualisation would be helpful as so much of our work is based around this
you will be comfortable working from detailed technical drawings and understand how these are taken from concept stage to manufacture and installation
you will be a stickler for precision and punctuality. Timing is everything in our work and we always have to be one step ahead of the game. We pride ourselves on offering cutting edge design and taking the stress off our client with impeccable management skills
you will have a UK-based BA or BSC in a creative or business related field
you will be confident communicating with clients on a daily basis and building strong relationships with existing and new clients. We are sorry but we rely so heavily on communication we really need someone with English as their first language
you will have an understanding of business finance and comfortable quoting projects
