Performance and Pathway Administrator – PentathlonGB – Britain

JOB PURPOSE
The Performance and Operations Administrator will be to provide world leading, comprehensive operational and administrative support to the Pentathlon GB Performance and Pathway programmes, aiming to deliver Olympic, World and European Championship success in the Paris cycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Act as a central point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders for Performance & Pathways at Pentathlon GB dealing with and responding to all request in a timely manner.
Work with key stakeholders (including University of Bath, TASS, EIS) to ensure the National Training Centre (NTC) meets the programme needs and provides a high-quality daily training environment Responsibility for management of PGB performance equipment and clothing, including inventory, identification of need and procurement.
Ensure Performance office at Pentathlon GB remains a world leading environment for staff to work in.
To ensure that competition schedules, including Major Championships, are planned, delivered, and reviewed and are underpinned by effective logistical planning and implementation.
Work with the Performance Operations Manager and Coaches to manage and book all logistics to all events both nationally and internationally for Performance and Pathway teams.
Provide administrative support to Pentathlon GB meetings including room booking and the production and circulation of minutes.
Provide administrative support to members of Senior Leadership team as required.
Maintain all athlete data and ensure this is all updated regularly, and meets the requirements of GDPR regulations.
Provide administrative support for Projects if required.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL
Experience of managing demands, pressure and the needs of a diverse team working in a fast-paced environment with a high expectation of achievement.
Knowledge to develop strategic and collaborative style to work positively in partnership with differing key stakeholders.
Strong organisational planning with experience of translating organisational strategies into clear and actionable operational plans.
Proven record in delivering in a high-performance environment.
Strong team player, flexibility to support other staff members within the organisation
Excellent presentation, communication and influencing skills.
Experiencing of delivering processes and projects, which includes multiple activities with different deadlines, work to set priorities and achieve against targets with finite resources
High levels of IT literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office 365 products
Proactive, confident self-starter, able to seek out areas of work on behalf of the PD, which will be of benefit to the operation of Pentathlon GB.
Positive and flexible work attitude with ability to meet the needs of the business as and when required calmly anticipating and proactively solving issues.

DESIRABLE
Safeguarding Experience
Experience working with Coaches and Athletes in Olympic or Paralympic sports.
Experience working with NGBs, NOCs and International Federations
Experience working at major sporting events
Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary support team
An understanding or knowledge of Modern Pentathlon and it’s family of sports
