Independent Non-Executive Director – Great Britain Lacrosse

Job Description
Great Britain Lacrosse (GBL) is an overarching organisation comprising the three home nations and is the body responsible for delivering Great Britain’s success for Lacrosse at the World Games and if successful in its application for the Olympic Games.
The INED’s key role is to support the Chair of GBL in the execution of their duties.
In addition, the INED is responsible for:
• developing and delivering the policies and initiatives taken by GBL
• working with the Board to ensure that they address the statutory

Responsibilities
• liaison with the Home Countries CEOs and board chairs
• attending any GBL General Meetings
• attending relevant meetings of the nominated country so they are fully
briefed on the performance of the nominated country
• ensuring statutory matters are adhered to by GBL appointed officers and volunteer staff
