Head of Comms – Claire House Children’s Hospice – North West England

The aim of Claire House Children’s Hospice is to enhance the quality of life for children and young people with a life-limiting or life-threatening condition, offering a high quality service, with both personal and professional support.

In partnership with the child or young person and their family, individual needs will be met; those of their family and significant carers will be recognised and respected in a safe ‘home from home’ environment.

Connector of people, data geek, Facebook aficionado, innovator, Instagrammer, master of the Twittersphere, people person, storyteller, tactician, techie, visionary, vlogger and all-round wordsmith?

If this sounds like you, Claire House Children’s Hospice needs you to get in touch. But not in the normal way. Okay, okay, you still have to fill in an application form, but we also want you to use your considerable powers to tell us why you are the one for this crucially important role. The only limit is that it should take us less than 10 minutes to read / watch / absorb your application, whatever form that application might take.

In the next 5 years, we need to reach out to every child with a life-threatening or terminal illness in our catchment area as well as finding the money we need to support them. Your goal is to make sure we achieve this.
