To effectively plan and to deliver a comprehensive grass roots club association package to local clubs in the Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset regions.
To deliver and support in the effective planning required for all grass roots club football provision delivered in Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset.
Responsible for recruitment on new grass roots football delivery in the Hampshire, Wiltshire and Dorset.
To effectively organise staff to carry out delivery across the programme on a termly basis throughout the budget year.
To manage and maintain positive relationships with associate clubs through regular meetings and site visits.
Quality assurance of staff and volunteers delivering within the programme.
Organisation and delivery of all marketing material within the programme.
Report writing on all aspects of the programme.
To support and underpin the wider Hampshire team with all relevant admin duties.
To deliver on the college programmes in Hampshire ensuring targets are reached and maintained as agreed with key partners.
To work closely with the Football Development Programme Coordinator, Schools Coordinator, Development Coach and Development Officer to understand all of the financial aspects around each of the programmes.
To deliver activities in partnership with funders and meet all obligations in respect of grant based funding.
To understanding and then develop relationships with key partners within the public and private sector.
To oversee and support all sessional and volunteer staff through relevant training and mentoring.
To seek sporting opportunities across all areas, to then enhance the delivery programme.
To be a positive role model, creating a safe, positive and fun environment in which to motivate and encourage young people to motivate.
To support the team in building relationships where possible and relevant with local authorities, government departments, football authorities, education authorities and other appropriate agencies.
To carry out duties with regard to relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
To undertake any Foundation activities that maybe required in addition to the role
To implement a recruitment drive where and when necessary in line with the business need.
MEASURES OF PERFORMANCE:
Quality of delivery under all main responsibilities.
Growth of programme above set budget targets.
Additional local clubs showing interest in being an associate club.
1st 4 Sport Level 2 FA coaching award.
In date Safeguarding children & first aid certificate.
Five GCSE’s including maths and English.
Clean driving licence.
CFCF Premier League enhanced CRB disclosure.
Other sports qualifications
A levels, degrees and/or masters
Mini bus licence or D1
1st 4 Sport Level 3 FA Coaching Award or currently studying
Overseen a project or team to achieve set targets.
Understanding of a financial budget.
An understanding of community sport, specifically football.
An understanding of the Every Child Matters framework.
5 years of varied coaching experience
To have coached at a centre of excellence level
Skills and abilities:
Able to deliver safe high quality coaching sessions and ability to mentor and educate.
To supervise young people / participants and volunteers.
Communication skills – to young people as a positive role model, sessional coaches, teachers, parents, youth managers, steering groups and local partners.
Multi-tasking and problem solving.
Ability to work in a confident and flexible manner and understand the importance of private and confidential material.
Ability to network, be resourceful and cross sell activity
