Functional Skills Tutor – Notts County Football in the Community

We are looking for an outstanding new Functional Skills Tutor (ENGLISH and MATHS), 20-25 hours per week, to work in our brilliant Alternative Education Provision – Heading for Goal (HFG)

We have built a highly respected reputation as a high quality education provision with a link to the oldest Football League Club in the world. HFG is small and takes students from Key Stages 3 and 4 (11 – 16 years old) both on a full time and part time basis.
We have a great opportunity for the right person to join the education team as a Functional Skills Tutor (English and/or Maths).

The purpose of this role is to teach and engage with our learners, in order to give them the skills they need to have a better and brighter future.

Key Responsibilities:-
Passionate and experienced at delivering high quality teaching in a subject specialism (FS English and/or Maths from Entry 3 to Level 2)

Must have a teaching qualification and/or subject specialist qualification at Level 4 (Level 5 – new standards).

Previous experience of curriculum delivery and a track record of successful learner outcomes

Hours: Mon – Fri (mornings 20-25 hours per week)

Salary – £20,000 pro rata (20 – 25 hours per week)
