Job Description
Sportsworld is a leading international event management company founded in 1980. We have operated travel and hospitality programmes at the world’s biggest international and domestic sporting events including the Olympic Games, Football World Cups and Wimbledon.
This is a great opportunity to work as part of a busy events team. It will be a challenging role and therefore requires an individual who can effectively plan their workload and multi-task, as well as work well under pressure and more importantly work as part of a team.
What are we looking for?
* An enthusiastic and hard-working individual
* Someone who is a team player with a “can do” attitude
* Knowledge of the UK corporate hospitality industry would be advantageous
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Diligent, methodical and an excellent eye for detail
* Previous experience working with systems i.e. reservation, CRM would be helpful
* Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in the event industry
