Cricket Development Administrator – Surrey Cricket Foundation

Job Description
The Position
Administrative duties related to the day-to-day running of the Cricket Development Department’s programmes:

• provide secretarial and administrative support for the Operations Manager (Support Services) and respective Cricket Development Officers in delivery of the Department’s Cricket Development education programmes.
• provide secretarial and administrative support in delivery of the Department’s facility development programmes.
• assist with the day-to-day financial requirements of the cricket development department.
• as part of the administrative team, act as secretariat at Cricket Development Team and respective Working Group meetings.
• as part of the administrative team be responsible for the collation of information and communication to the relevant parties.
• as part of the administrative team be responsible for the publication of relevant information via the website and social media.
• as part of the administrative team be responsible for the updating of the Surrey Cricket Foundation database.
• as part of the administrative team be responsible for the support of delivery of all key Surrey Cricket Foundation events.
• carry out other duties and responsibilities of a similar nature to those described above, which may be allocated from time to time as directed by the Operations Manager (Support Services) or Director of Cricket Development.

The Person
The successful candidate will have the following experience / skills / qualities:

Essential:
• A min of 2 Years experience in a similar role
• Qualification in MS Office or equivalent
• Experience of maintaining information via a website and social media
• Ability to work quickly and independently responding to changing needs as they arise
• Great planner and organiser with the ability to be systematic, logical and pragmatic when completing tasks
• Excellent communicator at all levels including Senior Management
• Ability to work accurately with great attention to detail
• Strong customer focus wanting to continually improve the service we offer, listening and acting upon feedback at all times
• Remain calm under pressure with the ability to work under own initiative and manage own workload.
Desirable:
• Worked in a similar role within a Cricket Club
• Experience of preparing budgetary and financial information
• Passion for recreational cricket or sport

Travel:
This role will be based at the George Abbott school in Guildford.

Salary and Benefits
Salary: £18,000 per annum (£9,000 for the term of the Contract)
23 days holiday per year pro rata
