Job Description
British Swimming is seeking an experienced and skilled Account Executive to join the Events & Marcomms team based in Loughborough.
The purpose of the role is to act as the lead point of contact for a new and exciting sponsorship deal, which will involve the day to day relationship management, responsibility for ensuring contractual rights are delivered and driving value for both partners.
As a national governing body heading into Tokyo 2020 British Swimming is an increasingly attractive potential partner for brands.

Responsibilities of this role will include working on all aspects with the partner to ensure all contractual rights and benefits are delivered across events and team, including event and team rights, ensuring a successful relationship is maintained and actively contributing to the development of the partnership.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative individual with excellent interpersonal skills and a keen eye for detail, who can play a key role in British Swimming’s commercial strategy, to drive the sport forward. British Swimming’s national events span the UK so the ability to travel is essential.

The successful individual will have experience of managing brand partnerships in a client focussed role, and knowledge of the sports industry would be advantageous.
The successful candidate is required to be able to work effectively to deadlines and will often be required to work unsociable hours away from home. Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential. They will have a successful track record of developing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
