Term fixed term contract from January 2016 to January 2017 initially, with the option to be considered for a full-time post for September 2016.
The Kingston Academy is new Free Secondary School in North Kingston, which opened for the first time in September 2015 with a cohort of Year 7 pupils. The school will grow annually by an additional year group until 2021. Eventually the school will comprise a community of 1200 pupils, including a Sixth Form and will employ over 100 people. TKA has received a substantial capital grant for the refurbishment of the existing educational facilities and for additional new modern buildings. Our mission is to provide a world-class education for all the young people within our community to ensure that every pupil is safe, happy and succeeds.
We are seeking an outstanding Mathematics Teacher to work with our Mathematics Subject Leader and the Head Teacher in establishing an exciting, challenging and fun Mathematics curriculum for all abilities.
The successful applicant will be:
an experienced and consistently high performing qualified classroom practitioner with pupil outcomes that support this
an inspirational and creative teacher of mathematics with excellent references
a confident communicator
highly IT literate and skilled at integrating new media into lesson planning and delivery.
