NTU Sport is aiming high – Nottingham Trent University is ranked in the top flight of the British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) Championships and aims to break into the top 10 within the next few years.

We have an impressive range of world-class sport and fitness facilities on our three campuses and support many talented students at NTU.

We are seeking a well organised and committed individual to co-ordinate the University’s sports scholarships programmes and provide a range of support services for our top sports performers. You will possess a thorough knowledge of performance pathways for high level athletes across a broad range of sports and the elements required for an effective high performance athlete environment. An understanding of the Talented Athlete Scholarship scheme (TASS) and other elite and performance programmes would be an advantage. You will also possess an ability to formulate plans to further develop our recruitment of high performance athletes to NTU both from the U.K. and abroad.

Working closely with the Performance Sport Manager and with talented athletes at NTU, you will ensure that they have the best support possible to enable them to reach their full potential in sport and their studies.

You will also work in partnership with a team of highly qualified and effective support practitioners across a variety of disciplines, including strength and conditioning, physiotherapy, and sports science.

The successful candidate will be conscientious with good communication and organisational skills. In addition, you will need to be adaptable and have a flexible approach to work with availability to work evenings and weekends where necessary.
