We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified, vibrant and professional part time fitness instructor to join our experienced Health and Fitness Team to work at University Park Campus, Jubilee Campus and King’s Meadow Campus Fitness Suites.
Successful candidates will have a minimum of a level 2 gym instructor qualification, experience of delivering both individual consultations and group training sessions, be enthusiastic, reliable, self-motivated and have excellent communication and customer care and interaction skills with an energetic and outgoing personality. Candidates must have evidence of educational competence i.e. GCSE, or equivalent, Maths and English at Grade C or above.
Daily duties will include new member inductions, programme design, delivering fitness classes on and off the gym floor, giving help and guidance to members, walking the gym floor engaging, interacting and looking after the well-being and motivation of our members, completing daily checks of the equipment and facility and making member bookings. The role also requires supporting the day-to-day operation of the Sports Centre and providing an excellent level of customer service at all times.
Standard hours of work for this post holder will be 25.37 hours per week and candidates will need to be flexible in their approach to their working hours, noting that the operational hours range between 5.30am and 11pm seven days a week.
