English Teacher, Sports Camps – Let Me Play Ltd – Loughborough University

Job Description
Let Me Play is a sports, education and outreach organisation that specifically works with young people. Established in 2004, Let Me Play started as and continues to be a specialist residential sports camp organisation. Through rapid growth and diversification, Let Me Play now provide coaching and teaching programmes for schools and colleges across London, PR for major sports brands and delivery of government projects.

Our flagship sports camps take place each summer at Loughborough University. Up to 300 football, basketball and athletics enthusiasts (aged 10 to 18) travel from all over the world to work on their sport, learn how to train at the highest level and to have an overall incredible sports experience.

Alongside the sport we offer English Language Classes for young people that also want to improve their English.

We are looking for qualified English Teacher to run the English classes every morning and be an operations assistant to the camp in general.

The position will be full time for the week and includes staying on site. We have 2 weeks where we need to hire an English Teacher – 2 to 7 August and 16 to 21 August.

    Person Specification

A passion for teaching
Qualified to teach (QTS or TEFL)
Confident in planning, preparation and deliver
Experience of teaching English at all levels (beginner to advanced)
Recent DBS check
