English is a high achieving and dynamic faculty. Results are outstanding and students make excellent progress. In 2014, 71% of students achieved 5A*-C in English and Maths, making Camborne Science and International Academy, for the second year running, the top performing state secondary school in Cornwall. At English GCSE, 96 % of students made expected progress compared to a national average of 70%.
At post-16 we currently offer A-level English and Media, both very popular and highly successful options for our VI Form students.
