Deputy Curriculum Leader for English – Thamesmead School – Surrey

We are looking to recruit an outstanding Deputy Curriculum Leader to work within our successful English department. The role of the Deputy Curriculum Leader will involve being responsible for a Key Stage. You will share our vision of achieving excellence and raising further the standards of teaching and learning. You will be a team player with a clear understanding of current and future curriculum developments. The allocation of Key Stage will be decided according to the strengths and experience of the successful candidate.

Thamesmead is a vibrant and successful school. In 2014 students achieved 84% 5 A*-C grades at GCSE and 76% achieved 5 A*-C with English and Maths. The School is situated to the West of London in attractive grounds within 300 yards of the River Thames, with good rail and road access. Our students attain high results in many areas of the curriculum and extracurricular activities are a strength of the school.
