An exciting opportunity has become available for a project co-ordinator, to assist the team in delivering of design and production work in the studio.

We are looking for a well organised, confident and ideas-driven individual to join an established and talented team. You’ll be working alongside the senior team as well as the designers and other parts of the trust.

With at least three to five years experience within a design environment, this role may suit someone that may have a design background, but whose strengths lie in project planning and delivery.

Responsibilities:

plan projects and determine future project resources and resolve possible conflicts
develop and update individual project schedules, to include design phases (concept, detail and delivery) and deadlines, with dedicated project director/designer
liaise with existing networks of suppliers and producers
manage all project production and delivery details – planning and logistics, co-ordinating suppliers, production estimates and costs, travel, deliveries and equipment and H&S risk assessments (RAMS)
event co-ordination – assist getting materials on-site and smooth running of any events and installation

Skills and experience:

three to five years experience in a design environment, and particularly experience relevant to our project range
a good understanding of the design and production process and knowledge of different types of production materials
being able to deliver a variety of design projects from small print jobs to large scale events or architectural projects e.g. signage and wayfinding
project planning experience
experience of using MAC computers
experience of using project management software and Excel
