    The Role
Working directly with the Great Britain Cycling Team and reporting to the Head of Communications, the primary function of the role is to shape and implement a communications strategy for Great Britain Cycling Team in line with corporate objectives and performance priorities.

The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring: Great Britain Cycling Team communicates consistently and effectively as a team which people admire and support; riders and key colleagues feel equipped to prosper in the modern media landscape; projects and successes are effectively communicated to stakeholders, including commercial partners, and media.

    Interested?
The successful applicant will have significant experience of building effective relations with key media at a national level. Essential knowledge and experience will also include:

• Working in a professional sports environment, within a busy press office
• Dealing with a wide variety of stakeholders, including senior internal colleagues
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills as well as the ability to juggle demands.

Flexibility is also key in this role as weekend and evening work will be required as well as national and international travel.
