Part-I Architectural Assistant, Chinese Work Experience – UHA London

UHA London are currently seeking a talented and experienced London-based, Chinese Mandarin speaking Part-I architectural assistant for our London studio to work on a number of upcoming projects.

The successful candidate must be a Part-I graduate and perfectly fluent in both English and Chinese Mandarin in both written and spoken and have a minimum one year of work experience at leading international practice(s).

The candidate must have exceptional 3D design and 3D modelling experience and be well versed with many architectural software packages, have proven experience of working on large international academic and practical projects, preferably within China and with complex geometries.

UHA London is an emerging international architecture and design studio headquartered in London, managing projects across the Americas, Asia and Europe. The studio is involved in a wide range of projects varying in context, function and scale that encompass architecture, masterplanning, and interior design.

This role will involve:

Principal responsibilities

responsible for co-ordination of project 3-D model setup and development
prepare drawing packages, images, schedules and other design documentation as required

Essential skills, qualities or experience

minimum one year work experience at international level architectural practice(s)
fluent in English and Chinese Mandarin (written and spoken)
possess expert graphic skills and aesthetic sense
possess excellent illustrative and render skills
expert knowledge of AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, 3Ds Max, Adobe Creative Suite
experience and production of facade design, landscape design and master plan drawings
UK based applicants only

Desirable:

Bachelor degree in Architecture from leading UK university
programming skills with ability to develop digital tools for design and digital fabrication

Salary will be dependent upon experience.
