Role Overview:
To operate as a Business Partner to a specific Company without our Compliance Division of the Group. This will involve working closely with the HR Business Manager, Managing Director, Senior Management Team and HR colleagues (both immediate and within the wider Division) to enable the delivery of the Business Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
•Provide strategic input on human resource matters.
•Contribute to strategic decision making by maintaining an up to date knowledge of HR practice and employment law.
•Make recommendations for improvements in processes and practices.
•Deliver an HR service to all pertinent stakeholders.
•Take responsibility for delivering a high quality professional HR service.
•Take a lead in final stage discipline/capability issues including dismissals and appeals.
•Take a lead in a complex grievance or disputes procedures as required.
•Undertake employment-related investigations for HR colleagues in other Divisions and commission HR colleagues to undertake investigations as required within your Division.
•Contribute or lead (where requested by the Group HR Director) corporate HR/Cultural change projects.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
•Good working knowledge of employment law & best practice
•Ability to communicate concisely, clearly and persuasively in writing and verbally
•Ability to present compelling arguments and negotiate satisfactory outcomes in a variety of circumstances
•Good IT skills (particularly MS Office, email, Word and preferably Excel, Powerpoint)
•Able to prioritise own workload and meet multiple deadlines
•Demonstrable proven experience of working as an HR Professional alongside Senior Management teams
•Demonstrable experience of providing strategic and operational employment-related advice
•CIPD qualified to at least Graduate level or equivalent experience
•Full and clean Driving Licence
