Due to customer demand , we are looking for a Production Operative in the Foundry department. The role will involve working in an industrial, quite hot environment where specific PPE must be worn, ensuring quality control is achieved in conjunction with the molten pouring process. Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.
The role would ideally suit someone with good practical skills, basic engineering or graduates in vehicle mechanics NVQ level 1 and 2 background. Other backgrounds will be considered as full training will be provided.
The role includes:
* A very competitive hourly rate , including shift allowance
* Working Monday to Friday on a 3 week shift rotation pattern, One week 6am to 2pm, the next 2pm to 10pm and the next 10pm to 6am.
* Overtime available once trained at £14.89 per hour Monday to Saturday and £20.54 on Sunday
* Annual 5% Performance Related Pay Bonus scheme

Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience of using hand tools / machine operating
* Experience of working in a manufacturing environment
* Great attention to detail and quality standards
* Good level of English (Writing,reading and verbal)
