Responsible
Implementation Leadership
Plan, lead, co-ordinate and secure resourcing of the technology implementation aspects of the programmes and projects that go to make up the MYPIP, in order to deliver the strategic and business objectives to the satisfaction of the senior stakeholders and sponsors.
Work with the business to assemble a compelling options analysis and fully costed business case with credible benefits realisation plans supported by data, recognising ambiguity and making evidence and/or values-based decisions to enable strategic prioritisation.
Working with the programme managers to identify which effort and aspects of products that will contribute to realising maximum value and achieving outcomes through clear prioritisation and management of the product backlog.
Drive business value and business outcomes through the management of measurable change management and business transformation interventions, usually in an Agile context
Identifying, defining and tracking the value and outcomes required of the product set and therefore the wider programme within an agile framework
Engage with senior business and IT leaders and executives to drive the change agenda using your professional expertise in agile and iterative change management methodologies and work closely and collaboratively with peers leading change across other areas of the Bank’s business;
With the IT leadership team, and liaising with stakeholders, manage the of demand for business transformation resource
Work with the IT Directors and Product Owners to manage the team’s annual delivery calendar and roadmap and optimise the timing of the release of product into business operations
Establishing and implementing the mechanisms by which value can be delivered and prioritized to help rank projects with a constrained scope of work in full coordination with the IT Governance Committee (ITGC) and the Program Steering Board (PSB).

People and Partner Leadership
Lead the cadre of IT Programme and Project managers as a practice head, to enhance and implant the Bank’s chosen implementation methodologies
Advise, coach, manage and mentor more junior change managers (both IT and business side) often via matrix leadership to build the capability internally
As a senior member of the IT Department, create an environment where all IT staff and partners feel motivated, engaged, connected, able to perform to high levels and to grow and develop in their roles and in so doing develop agile mindsets and behaviors and assist in equipping the business with the skills and behaviors to better manage and sustain change.
Work with Commercial and Vendor Management Team to regularly monitor and review partner implementation performance against SLAs

Knowledge/Skills/Experience & Qualifications
Experience
Able to demonstrate at least 10-15 years of major change leadership in similar sized organisations
Extensive experience (at least 5 years) in senior people and business leadership in a diverse and political international context;
Proven experience in leading IT transformational and partnering initiatives demonstrated by having led complex / broad technology / digitalization programs in a live financial services or similar working environment generating real bottom line improvements.
Understands the impact of technology change on process and services and the challenges and trade- offs of adopting PaaS vs on premise technologies. Familiar with all aspects of the agile SDLC and the implications on services within an ITIL framework.
IT and business transformation with emphasis on people and process change through the application of robust change and implementation methodologies.
Demonstrated experience in large, cross-functional teams influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively across the organization and within complex contexts.
Demonstrated experience in strategic planning and implementations, process design and development.

Knowledge/Skills
Have sound knowledge of relevant management and business change techniques such as business process modelling and re-engineering, agile delivery, design thinking, product development
Lead diverse teams through being flexible and open in thought and action
Highly effective communicator and able to do so with transparency and honesty, engaging both stakeholders and your direct and matrix team members in the Bank’s transformation journey
Passionate about diversity and developing people inclusively, strengthening their ability to deliver and enable them to grow in their roles and careers

Education
Minimum educated to degree level in a relevant discipline.
Evidence of professional Project Management training to augment proven experience and attainment of relevant qualifications from APMG or similar
