Marketing Assistant – London
Job description
This is an exciting new role within a small, busy marketing team. The purpose of the role is to provide support to the global team to facilitate the delivery of growth and engagement targets. You will be involved in a wide range of projects from developing and implementing marketing and PR plans, assisting with internal communications, helping to maintain existing SRi Website and social media channels and liaising with partners in our global offices to deliver effective marketing strategies.

This is a fantastic opportunity to use and develop recently acquired marketing skills and experience within one of the leading executive search and recruitment businesses dedicated to the global sports, media and entertainment industry.

Your main duties responsibilities will include:
Supporting the Marketing and Communications Director, tracking, developing & implementing global marketing plans
Supporting the global team with the design and preparation of proposals, shortlist/longlist documentation, candidate briefs and presentations
Writing press releases and seeking out earned media opportunities
Keeping the global offices up to date with client and relevant industry news
Managing SRi’s owned media including website, social media, weekly email to candidates and employee biographies
Managing paid media strategies including the use of adwords, video ads, Facebook ads and other digital platform activity
Organising media and marketing pre, during and post events

The successful candidate will possess the following Qualifications and Attributes:

Degree level Marketing qualification
At least one nationally recognised NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalents
Experience of Microsoft Dynamics CRM software
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages
Working Experience of Adobe Creative Suite Packages such as Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Premier
Experience of maintaining Social Media Channels and Software
Experience of Online Content Management Systems
Experience of writing and producing online content

Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will be internationally minded, have a very strong academic background, and experience of working in a marketing role delivering successful marketing strategies. A well-rounded and credible interest in the sport, media and entertainment industries is essential.

A “can do” and proactive approach and enthusiasm is vital. You must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be highly organised, with strong attention to detail.
