Development Media International (DMI) is a London-based organisation which uses mass media to change behaviours and improve health in developing countries www.developmentmedia.net).

In 2011 DMI launched the world’s first scientific trial to determine how many lives can be saved using mass media campaigns alone, in Burkina Faso. Results are due in 2015, but the mid-line survey indicates that there has already been a significant impact on lives saved.

DMI also recently set up an office in Kinshasa, DRC to run projects on child health and family planning. We have also opened an office in Mozambique and there may be future country offices opening throughout 2015. As DMI’s operations have increased significantly we require a dedicated and enthusiastic Finance Manager to join our finance and operations team.

DMI is looking for a high-calibre, dedicated Finance Manager. S/he will be London-based, and will work with the Head of Operations and Finance to provide financial management of DMI. S/he will oversee country office finance staff in each country where DMI works, and will run the accounting function for DMI. Some overseas travel will be required.

The closing date for applications is 5pm Monday 6th April.

Shortlisted applicants will be invited to sit a test before interview.

First round interviews will take place on 21/22 April with a possible second round interview on 23 April.
