The National Osteoporosis Society wants a brighter future for people with or at risk of osteoporosis and fragility fractures across the UK, putting an end to preventable broken bones and helping people to live without pain and disability.

We are seeking to recruit exceptional people to supplement those of our committed Board of Trustees. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have substantial knowledge of:

Finance (with the potential to take on the Honorary Treasurers role) Clinical expert in the field of Osteoporosis Legal background

It is an exciting time for the charity and having on board highly experienced Trustees who can contribute to the strategic plans and maximise existing opportunities is essential.

Trustees are required to commit to quarterly Board meetings held either in London or at the charity’s headquarters in Camerton, near Bath. In addition there are 2-3 supplementary meetings of the Board or its sub-committees annually and on-going information exchange which requires a regular time commitment each month. This is an unremunerated role although expenses will be paid for travelling to meetings.
