Events and Community Fundraising Officer – Ambitious about Autism – London

We are looking for an experienced Events and Community Fundraiser with a proven track record of managing high quality, successful events. You will be responsible for generating income through the development of our existing challenge events portfolio, whilst delivering new events and our community strategy.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced successful Events and Community Team and really make your mark at a time of growth within the charity. You’ll need to demonstrate your ability to deliver against targets, manage tight budgets, provide an outstanding supporter journey, support volunteers and develop new ideas from conception through to evaluation.

As well as working on a rapidly-expanding challenge event portfolio, you’ll lead our Community strategy with the support of another member of the Fundraising Team. You’ll also work closely with the Senior Event Manager on a range of bespoke events.

About you: You’re a comfortable communicator with the ability to motivate and engage individuals to take on new challenges and raise funds for the charity. You are confident in managing and supporting volunteers both within the office and on events. Highly organised, you’re a team player, driven to achieve results with a passion for events. You have experience working within a busy Fundraising Team, preferably with a good knowledge of the Raiser’s Edge database.
