North Kent based B2B publisher offers a great opportunity for an Editor to join our team on a global title.
Working in a close-knit team, as Editor you will rapidly gain an in-depth knowledge of your industry, and be keen to grow the profile of your publication. We’re looking for an organised, motivated individual who would be confident interviewing industry professionals, attending and reporting on major industry events from Birmingham to Brazil.
You will be ready to take on responsibility for editorial management and development, as well as having excellent writing, subbing and proof-reading skills. You will be comfortable with the production process and meeting deadlines, and turn copy round quickly and accurately. You’ll be happy interviewing, news gathering, commissioning and managing editorial budgets. As well as writing news and features, you will work with the Web Editor to develop the title’s digital platforms and social media.
Ideally you will be an experienced B2B Editor looking for a fresh challenge, or an aspiring Deputy Editor ready for the next step in your career. Probably educated to degree level, you should have sound IT/social media skills. Experience of InDesign is useful. Your most important assets will be your passion, commitment and dedication to maintaining your publication at the forefront of news and editorial coverage.
This is a full time, office-based position and you must live within reasonable commuting distance of Gravesend.
