Volunteers Administrator – London – Special Olympics Great Britain

Job Description
Special Olympics GB has a vacancy for a part-time administrator to join its small but enthusiastic Volunteering and Community Engagement team. The Administrator will have lead responsibility for the management of our volunteer registration processes (including disclosures) and the maintenance of accurate records in relation to these. The post-holder will need to develop good relationships with the volunteer workforce in our extensive network of clubs across the country and develop effective mechanisms for communicating with them.

The ideal candidate will have the following:
1. Experience in and a track record of developing and working with office productivity tools (MS Excel, MS Word, Powerpoint) is essential, and bulk communication tools, such as Mailchimp, are desirable
2. A strong ability to analyse data effectively and efficiently
3. Thorough understanding of the issues surrounding the holding and processing of personal data
4. Highly developed organisational and communication skills and an attention to detail
5. An ability to think on your feet and the tenacity to overcome challenges
6. The ability to work as part of a team
7. Some working knowledge of web-based applications would be useful
