About you
• Triathlon coach with experience of coaching clubs or individuals.
• Ideally you will hold a current BTF Level (3), but we will consider Level (2) depending on relevant experience.
• You are actively involved with triathlon, both coaching and racing.
• You are an active member of the BTF
• You will be self-employed and will invoice the club.

Roles and responsibilities
The role of the head coach is to provide triathlon coaching to the members of the club, and to provide a safe, fun and motivated environment for triathlon enthusiasts of all ages and abilities to train and develop as an athlete. The role will include but is not exhaustive of the following:
• To be responsible for the coordinating and writing of all training sessions, which currently consists of 3 swims and 1 run.
• To identify yearly club target races and to design and organise the club’s training schedule that incorporates these targets.
• To provide sessions that are suitable for all levels (beginner, intermediate and advanced) and where possible to integrate and adapt these to ensure good cohesion in the club.
• To organise and promote new training sessions when required by the committee.
• To provide at least 2 coached swim sessions per week.
• To provide regular feedback during the sessions to its members.
• Attend monthly meeting with committee when required.
• To mentor and guide our Level 1 coaches and those working towards Level 1.
• Pay negotiable based on experience and commitment to sessions.
