IoS Operations Manager – Loughborough – Institute of Swimming

Job Description
The IoS, a National Training Provider, is the training arm of the National Governing Body for Swimming and its associated disciplines in England, with its headquarters based in Loughborough. We are seeking an Operations Manager on a maternity cover basis to manage the commercial training provision across a suite of aquatics training.

Reporting to the Head of IoS, the Operations Manager will ensure exemplary management of operations within the business and lead the delivery and implementation associated with the IoS portfolio of commercial qualifications and CPD’s.
You will be an organised individual with excellent communication and staff management skills. You will be required to develop new activity, generating significant income along the way. You will be responsible for managing contracts and training plans with internal partners, employers and external agencies. Working with the Programme Leaders and Quality Team, you will also identify opportunities to enhance operational quality and efficiency.

The successful Candidate must have experience of managing commercial training activity, working to targets and a proven ability to lead and mange teams to deliver a business plan. Strong budget and project management experience is essential. Experience of working in an educational setting and an understanding of Aquatics or Sport & Leisure is desirable.
