Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: £22,359.00 – £23,721.00 per annum
Status: Fixed Term until 31st August 2020

Calderdale College is looking to appoint a highly talented and motivated Project Lead to co-ordinate the Tackling Inactivity Programme.
The Tackling Inactivity Programme, in conjunction with Sport England aims to get more students physically active as figures show that people are more likely to be Inactive when studying at College. There are currently 300,000 college students nationwide aged 16-19 that are currently inactive, with levels of activity declining when students transition from school to colleges. Calderdale College aims to break this trend through the delivery of this new exciting project.
This person will need to be highly motivated, a great communicator and influencer. Experience of working with young people desirable. They will also need to have an awareness of sports development strategies and local organisations within sport and physical activity, plus excellent organisational skills and an approachable, can-do manner.
